ABILITY TO PAY FOR SERVICES INFORMATION


The Open Door Autism Learning Center has launched an ‘Ability to Pay Program’. Reduction in our fees can be applied for through a Fee Reduction Application, with reduction assigned based on  Current Poverty Level Guidelines

Eligible Applicants will be determined upon review of a submitted application.
*A family gross yearly income or (if file a long form), an adjusted yearly income of  200% or less of the  current year’s Federal Poverty Level.
*There are no age restrictions.

Application Process
1.Copy the application form from the website above or call Jerome Gee, Executive Director and request that an application be sent to you.   360-888-0660
2. Copy your latest income tax form (only need first page) to be used to determine income eligibility and include the copy with your application.  Adults over the age of 21 do not need to include their parent's income when applying.
3.  Complete the application form, and sign it as requested. .
4.Send your completed application and attached documents to the Open Door Autism Learning Center to the attention of  Jerome Gee, Executive Director.

200% of the Poverty Level will be eligible for a  22% discount off the weekly class fee
150% of the Poverty Level will be eligible for a 34% discount off the weekly class fee
100% of the Poverty Level will be eligible for a  44% discount off the weekly class fee
80%  of the Poverty Level will be eligible for a  56% discount off the weekly class fee
50%  of the Poverty Level will be eligible for a  67% discount off the weekly class fee

*The Open Door Learning Center is a self pay facility and does not accept insurance, Medicaid or DSHS.

DISCLAIMER
The learning center DOES NOT provide a clinical diagnosis of Autism or Asperger, but works directly with Olympia Clinical Psychologists, who have the expertise and credentials to diagnose Autism or Asperger. 
The Open Door Autism Learning Center, besides treatment and intervention, DOES provide a Screening during an intake session, at no charge. This meeting is  to determine if Red Flag behaviors and manifestations appear to be present that commonly are seen in those living with the disorders of Autism or Asperger, and if Social Groups would be helpful and appropriate. A person does not need to have a diagnosis to participate in the Learning Center groups.  Anyone with Social challenges are welcome to join an appropriate peer group, based upon placement by Patty Gee, Autism Therapist.
